Suga International Holdings Limited (”SUGA“ / the ”Group“) welcomed a 50-strong delegation from the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (”CMA“) to its Dongguan Hi-tech Environmental Industrial Park on last Friday, and introduced them to the Park’s efforts in clean production.
The 1,000,000 sq. ft. SUGA Hi-tech Industrial Park located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, has been in operation since 2014. Following the installation of automated equipment, the Park’s production capacity was boosted, and production efficiency and procedures further enhanced, thus allowing the Group to quickly adapt to customers’ sophisticated design requests and other requirements. In addition to automated equipment, the Group also acknowledges the importance of sustainable environmental development. Hence, it has established the ”Environmental, Social Governance Policy“ for the Park so as to realize the goals of cutting greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants, achieving energy savings and reducing waste generation. It has also adopted measures such as utilizing a solar power (photovoltaic) system and energy-saving air conditioning compressor system to reduce emissions and waste, and is also committed to constantly improving the utilization rate of energy, water and raw material resources. The Park has obtained international certification, including ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and QC080000 Hazardous Substances Process Management system for its performance in environmental management.
